LOCAL N.F.S. THANKED
—————————

To the Editor, Amman Valley Chronicle

Sir, ? May we, through the medium of your valuable paper, express our keen appreciation of the prompt action of the Ammanford N. F. S. in attending the recent fire next door, 6, College Street.

It is only fair to say that they had the fire well under control when the Pontardawe N. F. S. arrived. A serious extension of the fire was in this way averted, and owners of near premises feel very obligated to the Ammanford N. F. S. for their expeditious work. ? yours, etc.,

T. E. HARRIES & SON

6. College Street,
Ammanford.
