THE SUN SHONE and some firemen got soaked when the local station opened its doors to Ammanford residents on Saturday.

Rachel Nichols, aged five, of Tycroes, was one of the many children who couldn't wait to get to grips with the activities at Ammanford Fire Station Open Day including soaking firemen, demonstrations, police car rides, stalls and lots more fun.
