CRASH DAMAGE, FIREMEN CUT DRIVER FREE

   
Tangled wreckage of collison at Cwmgwilli


TANGLED wreckage of the Mini which was in collision with a Transit van at Cwmgwilli.

A Capel Hendre man was said to be in a satisfactory condition at Morriston Hospital this week, after a crash on an old Colliery road at Cwmgwilli.

Mr. Darren Josey (18), of Waterloo Road , had to be freed from the wreckage of his car after the collision with a Ford Transit van driven by Mr. Ronald Evans (45), of Cardigan.

Mr. Josey suffered serious leg injuries, said a fire spokesman, while Mr. Evans suffered whiplash injuries.

Both vehicles were extensively damaged.
