SAD SCENE… The horse which was in collision with a car at Glynmoch last Wednesday, lies lifeless at the side of the road as firemen clear up.

DRIVER'S ESCAPE

A GARNANT woman escaped serious injury when her car was in collision with a horse at Glynmoch, Glanaman.

Katherine Walker, of Cwmaman Road, suffered cuts, bruises and shock, in the collision last Wednesday evening, which left her car extensively damaged.

The black stallion, which is believed to have strayed from a field alongside the road, was killed in the accident. It is not yet known who owned the horse.
