Ammanford Fire Brigade, selected as the most efficient station in Carmarthenshire and Cardiganshire for the second consecutive year, were presented with a shield by Chief Fire Officer Gerald Jones.

As reported in last week's “Guardian,” Fireman B. G. Williams was presented with a long-service and good conduct medal after 20 years service.
